The newly released iOS18 has a “Music Haptic Feature” that allows the hearing impaired to enjoy the Apple Music catalog by synchronizing the “iPhone Taptic Engine” with the rhythm of the music.
I use an iPhone 12 mini (I think this is the only model that can be handled in one hand ).
I’m supposed to be able to install iOS18, but my iPhone has only 64GB, so I’m a little scared to try it out. That’s why I haven’t been able to try out the iPhone Taptic Engine yet.
But my vibration adapter also vibrates in time with the speech and music when tuned to AM or FM broadcasts instead of Morse code, so I thought, “Is it like that?” and tried putting some music from YouTube on it.
What I’m listening to, or rather touching, is the first movement of Beethoven’s Symphony No. 5, the familiar “Fate.” I would have laughed out if I had heard many “V”s (・・・ー)here and there.
But in reality, none of the “jajajajaan” or “papapapaan” phrases were reproduced as a ”V”, and I ended up thinking to myself,
”O, things don’t always go well in the world.”
