The materials required are aluminum pipe (4Φ), copper pipe (4Φ), long M3 screws, M3 hex spacers, VP16, etc., and can almost all be found at a hardware store in the neighborhood.
The only things I can’t find there are the M-type plug, coaxial cable, and 3m glass pole.
The vertical element is made of three 1m aluminium pipes. The connections are screwed together. A long M3 electrical screw is cut to length by removing its head and then half of it is inserted and crimped. This is the male side.
For the female side, I first made it by lightly crushing a 4mm aluminum pipe (inner diameter 3mm) and then tapping a 3mm hole on the inside, as shown below… but….
Partway through, I’ve found that if I didn’t cut off the flimsy tap, I could just crimp an M3 hex spacer onto it, which would be easier and more sturdy.
This is simpler and stronger, and won’t deteriorate.
The other parts aren’t worth explaining in particular. The balun is made from a “branch conductor balun” made by splitting a coaxial cable, and the elements on the top and bottom are made by crushing the ends of copper pipes and drilling holes, and then hanging the vertical element (aluminum pipe 3Φ) by fastening it with a wing nut.
